I read on the Unlaunch website that this app seems to disable signature checks if there is no bootcode.nds. I think it may be good to have a Priiloader-like launcher hack (PRiLoader?) that doesn’t force patches like this, so that hbmenu can be loaded through a patch (e.g. by pressing R in the system menu), and the scene can have zero installable homebrew outside the hacked TMD for the system menu. :Apparently a tool exists to remove these patches from the Unlaunch installer. Unfortunately, nobody has the license to redistribute the binary, so I think it would still be better to get a replacement working at some point. TODO: talk about the exploit (DSi system flaws page?)

Seems to be a "if (fileSize > fileSize)" not "if (fileSize > limit)" which is humor that belongs on a system flaws page. http://problemkaputt.de/unlaunch.htm Hallowizer (talk) 07:24, 18 August 2021 (CEST)

Warez?

I read on the Unlaunch website that this app seems to disable signature checks if there is no bootcode.nds. I think it may be good to have a Priiloader-like launcher hack (PRiLoader?) that doesn’t force patches like this, so that hbmenu can be loaded through a patch (e.g. by pressing R in the system menu), and the scene can have zero installable homebrew outside the hacked TMD for the system menu. Apparently a tool exists to remove these patches from the Unlaunch installer. Unfortunately, nobody has the license to redistribute the binary, so I think it would still be better to get a replacement working at some point. Hallowizer (talk) 03:15, 18 July 2022 (CEST)
