Global Update
System Menu 1.4.2 was released globally on 10 May 2011. This includes China, the China version is 1.4.3C.

If you don't update, you can't use the DSi Shop. Sudokuhax still works, unknown if copying Sudokuhax from SD card to "internal memory" still works.
Changelog
- Blocks flash cards, except for iEvo. iEvo still works in both DS and DSi mode.
- System Settings was updated, it's unknown what changed. A bunch of banner code was changed, launcher/sysmenu might have the same banner code changes? No data management DSiWare SD card import/export code was changed,(except for a minor dev.kp verification change when copying dsiware) thus Sudokuhax should still copy to NAND from SD card fine.(but this wasn't tested yet)
